New Director Elected to Pennsylvania

Inside the Council (PA Travel Council) | October 1998

As reported  in the  Pennsylvania Travel Council’s Inside the Council October 1998:

” At the September 17th Board of Directors meeting, Marcy Tudor was elected to serve on the Council’s Board of Directors.
Marcy Tudor is the proprietor of Weatherbury Farm, a farm vacation bed and breakfast in Avella (Washington County). In 1996, Weatherbury Farm received the Rural sustainable Tourism Award from the Center for Rural Pennsylvania. Tudor is a Vietnam veteran having served as a captain in the United States Air Force. She has worked in the private and public sectors in human and labor relations, as a tax auditor for the state of Florida and a farm management accountant with the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau.
Tudor has served as the president of the Pennsylvania Farm Vacation Association for the past 3 1/2 years. In 1996, her property was one of six small businesses nationwide presented with Microsoft/Home Office Computing’s Most Innovative Business Marketing Award for “entrepreneurial creativity and desktop marketing savvy.” She holds bachelors degrees in psychology and accounting and an MBA.”
