Saturday October 4 2008 Folk Music Jam
Our next Potluck Dinner and Jam will be held on Saturday October 4 2008 (in the Livery Hall, behind the farmhouse). There is no admission charge, please bring a dish to share. Potluck 5 PM; Jam to follow @ ~ 6 PM Bring your instrument(s), voice, music, a sense of fun. There's always room for one more - bring a friend. Jams are folks playing and folks singing and folks listening (not to mention lots of great food!). An attendee at our November Jam called it a community sing-along!
Bob Zentz in concert Wednesday October 28 2008
What exciting news! Singer/songwriter Bob Zentz will play in concert at the Livery Hall on Wednesday, October 29th. The concert will be followed by a jam where folks can join in and learn some of Bob's great songs (bring your instruments). A few of Bob's songs are already favorite at our jams (including "The End of Another Year" and "Sweet Song from Yesterday"). Tickets for the concert are $8/adult & $4/all children in a family prior to the event and $10/adult & $5/all children at the door. Sheep Fest 2001 - 2005
Pictures from our four years of Sheep Fest are on-line. Sheep Fest celebrated the heritage of Sheep in southwestern Pennsylvania. There were sheep (of course), demonstrations and hands-on opportunities of fiber arts (including spinning, weaving, bobbin lace and knitting) and perhaps the most beautiful crafts you have ever seen! We regret that Sheep Fest will not be held in 2008.
