How we farm at Weatherbury Farm

Making Organic Hay and Growing Organic Grains

You may have heard the tongue-in-cheek witticism about the farmer out standing in his field.  At Weatherbury Farm, we take that to heart, because to succeed in the 21st century, we need to be outstanding in our field!

And fieldwork plays an important part in our farming.  The farmers spend a lot of time in the field.  Making hay (winter feed for our animals) or growing organic grains which will be milled into flours.  Please following these links to learn  how we make organic hay and grow organic grains.

Because we are certified organic (& perhaps more importantly because being certified reflects our beliefs), we use no herbicides, pesticides, fungicides and plant organic seeds (which by definition means non-GMO).

Weatherbury Farm is an Integrated Sustainable Certified Organic Farm
